The name of our company, Rebelle, is inspired by a phrase on a highway bridge in Marseille: "La vie est (re)belle." Our pursuit of a beautiful life often stands in contrast to harmony and serenity, as it requires resistance. As filmmakers, we see it as our responsibility to connect human beauty with socially relevant challenges—especially in politically difficult times.
